How does the iTalkBB TV Box connect to the internet?
It can connect to the internet in either wireless way or wired way. When you choose "wired connection", plug one end of your internet cable into the "internet" port of your iTalkBB TV Box, and then plug the other end of your internet cable into the "Ethernet（LAN）" port of your router.
If you choose to use wireless connection, install the wireless receiving antenna onto the iTalkBB TV Box. Turn on the Box and your TV, choose "My iTalkBB" and go to "Network Settings" to configure internet.
How to configure the Internet settings?
For Wireless Connection:
When watching for the first time, turn on the iTalkBB TV Box and your TV and switch to the right input. And you will see a screen for Network Configuration. Please choose "Quick Wireless Connection", and you will see a list of wifi signals. Please choose the one for your home and enter your wifi password. After the password is verified, click "complete". If the internet indication light on the set top box turns green, the box is successfully connected to the internet.
If you need to manually enter certain IP address or use certain WiFi signal, please click "Manually Configuration".
Wired Connection: If you choose "wired connection", please enter password if there is any. And then, please click "Obtain IP address automatically". If the internet indication light on the set top box turns green, the box is successfully connected to the internet.
Why I couldn't find any Wifi signals?
Please check if you have correctly installed the wireless receiving antenna. Make sure it is not loose. Re-install the antenna, and then refresh the wireless list.
I can't find the Wifi signals of my home. What should I do?
1. Make sure if you set your Wifi to the "hidden" mode. If so, please select "Manually Network Setup", then enter the name of your Wifi network.
2. If the name of your Wifi contains special characters or symbols, please change its name and try again.
Why I entered the correct password but still can't connect to the internet?
Please use common letter or number for to name your wifi. Do not contain any special symbols such as space, hyphen and etc. The encryption method iTalkBB TV Box supports including WEP, WPA1, WPA2. Please check the encryption method of your router and switch it to one of the above. If you still can't get it connected, check if your router has some advanced security functions turned on, such as Macfilter. If yes, please add the MAC number of your iTalkBB TV Box in the allowed MAC list of your router.
